The Rangers have announced that training camp will open September 11th this season, six days after the prospects begin their season in the Traverse City Prospects Tournament.
It is yet to be determined how many players the Rangers will invite to camp, but with a new coach, there may be interest in taking a look at a number of the fringe players, especially with injuries expected to keep Ryan Callahan and Carl Hagelin out.
As per usual, camp is expected to be hosted at the Rangers practice facilities in Greenburgh, NY and will not be open to the public.
